I spend my life looking through the lens of a camera and I like to think that I’m seeing the world slightly differently - my goal is to change the way people see the everyday. I love architecture and I’ve been shooting cityscapes for the past seven years especially from rooftops in Dubai.

The Dubai Marina has been my main photographic playground – it’s fascinating to see how it is evolving. It has become one of the most awe-inspiring landscapes; I never get bored of shooting there. I started to shoot in the Marina around six years ago and watch the evolution of the cityscape there, has been fascinating. I love searching out new vantage points and coming back to shoot the location from a different perspective.

I owe a lot to Dubai for my photography, it is an iconic, architectural marvel and as the city develops and evolves, I am always finding new material to shoot. My focus is a combination of high dynamic photography and motion controlled time-lapse. Both techniques are really about altering reality and giving people a new perspective, and Dubai has such a variety of architecture that looking at it from a rooftop, especially at night, is like watching huge jewellery that sparkles from every angle.
